Canada’s Pembina Pipeline is seeking a partner for its wholly owned Jordan Cove LNG export plant in the United States and plans to reduce its stake in the project to 40-60%, Pembina said on Monday.
“This process to find partners is expected to commence upon securing binding off-take agreements, with a completion objective in Q3 2019 and is intended to reduce the capital, operating, and other project risks,” Pembina said.
