The western segment of China’s third West-East Pipeline has passed final completion inspections, marking the official launch of the 2,445 km section, China National Petroleum Corp. said on Wednesday.
The segment starts in the Chinese city of Khorgos on the border with Kazakhstan and runs to Zhongwei in Ningxia.
It entered trial operations on 30 August 2017 and has supplied 55.1 billion cubic metres of gas to date, of which 54.1 bcm came from Central Asia and around 1 bcm was synthetic...
