South Korea’s EPIK has proposed building an LNG terminal on Australia’s eastern coast, according to Reuters.

The terminal is the fifth to be proposed in the country, which is also one of the world’s biggest exporters of LNG.

EPIK is a new venture and is looking to deliver an FSRU to the port of Newcastle.

The cost of the project, including onshore infrastructure, is expected to be $430 million.
