United States-based CBM exploration company Strata-X has announced it has obtained approval from Botswana’s government to spud 20 wells on its exclusive Serowe permit in the country.
The company has successfully carried out an environmental impact study for the acreage, which covers 110,000 hectares, and expects to start drilling in January by spudding two wells. The location of the wells has yet to be decided.
