Pipeline exports from North Africa to Europe rose by 3.4% last week from the previous week, to 808.7 million cubic metres (MMcm), in line with the seasonal trend. Flows increased on the Maghreb, Medgaz and Trans-Med pipelines but fell slightly through the GreenStream pipeline, which transports gas from Libya to Italy. The Maghreb saw the largest rise, with volumes increasing by 16.4%, to 160.9 MMcm. However, North African flows are still 9.0% lower than where they were at this time last year.
