Imported modules for Canada’s Woodfibre LNG project should not be exempt from a 45.8% anti-dumping tariff, the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) said on Friday.

Woodfibre’s developer asked the CBSA to look into whether the project’s LNG modules were subject to a May 2017 ruling by the Canadian International Trade Tribunal that found some fabricated industry steel components (FISCs) from China, South Korea and Spain were being dumped in Canada.
