Singaporean company investing in Punjab gas infrastructure

Singapore’s Think Gas Investments will invest in gas distribution infrastructure in India’s Punjab province.

Singapore’s Think Gas Investments will invest in gas distribution infrastructure in India’s Punjab province, according to The Pioneer.

The investment amounts to INR 20 billion ($280 million) and will generate 1,500 jobs.

The infrastructure will be spread over 12,000 km covering the districts of Ludhiana, Barnala, Moga, Jalandhar, Kapurthala and Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar.

The company aims to provide gas to 45% of Punjab’s households along with its industrial sector.
