Two senators in the Philippines have filed a resolution calling on President Rodrigo Duterte to release a definitive draft of the oil and gas deals he intends to sign with Chinese President Xi Jinping, according to Rappler.

The resolution put forward by Senators Antonio Trillanes IV and Francis Pangilinan urges Duterte not to sign an agreement with China or any other state that diminishes the Philippines’ exclusive sovereign rights over its natural resources, as doing so would contravene the country’s constitution.
