Shaanxi-Beijing pipeline to boost supplies by 40 MMcm/d

The fourth Shaanxi-Beijing gas pipeline will supply an additional 40 MMcm/d in the coming heating season.

The fourth Shaanxi-Beijing gas pipeline will supply an additional 40 million cubic metres per day (MMcm/d) in the coming heating season compared with the 2017-2018 season, parent company China National Petroleum Corp. said on Thursday.

Some 30 MMcm/d will be sourced from China National Offshore Oil Corp.’s (CNOOC’s) LNG terminals in Guangdong province as well as its offshore gas fields and Sinopec’s LNG terminal in Guangxi.
