A technical glitch with the underwater hydraulic valve connecting the Excelerate Energy FSRU to shore could disrupt Bangladesh’s gas supply for 10 days or more, according to Bangladeshi newspaper The Independent.

Petrobangla is looking at ways to try to fix the problem and has sought assistance from engineers working on the country’s second FSRU-based import project, which is led by Summit Group.
