PGNiG has signed a sales-and-purchase agreement with Cheniere to buy a total of 520,000 tons of LNG between 2019-2022 and 29.0 mt between 2023-2042, the state-owned Polish company said on Thursday.

PGNiG will purchase around 1.45 mtpa in the second tranche, with deliveries for both batches to be made on a delivered-ex-ship basis.

The cargoes will be despatched from Cheniere’s Sabine Pass and Corpus Christi LNG plants.
