Bangladesh in talks to Sinopec over Chittagong gas exploration

Bangladesh Petroleum Exploration & Production Company (BAPEX) is in talks with China’s Sinopec about beginning gas exploration in four structures in the Chittagong Hill Tracts region, in order to boost the area’s gas supplies, Mortuza Ahmad Faruque, managing director of BAPEX, told Interfax today.

Bangladesh Petroleum Exploration & Production Company (BAPEX) is in talks with China’s Sinopec about beginning gas exploration in four structures in the Chittagong Hill Tracts region, in order to boost the area’s gas supplies, Mortuza Ahmad Faruque, managing director of BAPEX, told Interfax today.
