Uniper subsidiary Liqvis opened the first of 14 planned LNG filling stations on Monday, the company said in a press release.
The facility, in Grünheide just outside the German capital of Berlin, will be able to refuel two vehicles simultaneously and will be open for 24 hours a day every day of the week. It will be able to refuel most vehicles in 4-8 minutes and provide enough fuel for a journey of up to 1,600 km.
