Thailand’s LNG imports increased by 56% year on year in Q3 2018, to 1.27 mt compared with 812,000 tons in Q3 2017. However, they were down by 4% from Q2 2018, when they stood at 1.32 mt. August imports hit a record high of more than 500,000 tons, while September’s were the third highest on record at 455,000 tons.
