Japan and New Zealand have signed a memorandum of understanding on hydrogen, according to Gas World.

The two countries are looking to work together to use New Zealand’s abundant renewable energy supplies to deliver hydrogen to Japan.

Japan’s Obayashi Corp. and New Zealand’s Tuaropaki Trust are already working together on a project to use geothermal energy to generate hydrogen.
