PetroChina will be able to supply 84.1 billion cubic metres of gas for the coming winter heating season, which will run from mid-November 2018 to mid-March 2019, China’s Xinhua news agency reported on Wednesday.
The figure is an increase of 3.3 bcm compared with last winter. PetroChina’s Southwest Oil & Gas Field subsidiary is expected to increase shale gas output by 43.5% year on year in 2018, to 3.3 bcm.
