Gazprom Chief Executive Alexei Miller met Pekka Lundmark, his counterpart at Finnish state-owned utility Fortum, for talks at the St. Petersburg International Gas Forum on Thursday.

They discussed future cooperation in the power sector and progress on the Nord Stream 2 pipeline, the Russian major said in a note.

Fortum acquired a 47.35% stake in Germany’s Uniper, one of the five partners financing Nord Stream 2, earlier this year.
