The United States produced 2.8 billion cubic metres of gas per day in July, the US Energy Information Administration (EIA) said in a monthly report published on Friday. This represents a new record for the country, which became a net gas exporter for the first time in 60 years this January. The level of output represents a 12.4% increase from July 2017, when the country produced 2.5 bcm/d.
