As much as 2.5 mtpa of new spot LNG supplies will hit the market in Q1 2019 as five plants in the United States either have started commissioning or are waiting for regulatory approval, Reuters reported on Thursday.
Cheniere’s Corpus Christi project in Texas could produce its first LNG in November, followed by Kinder Morgan’s Elba Island plant and the fifth train at Cheniere’s Sabine Pass in December.
