The Qinzhou transmission station at Sinopec’s Guangxi LNG terminal started supplying regasified LNG to the China-Myanmar gas pipeline on Friday, Sinopec said on Monday.

Sinopec plans to supply 55 million cubic metres (MMcm) to the pipeline, operated by China National Petroleum Corp, between 14-30 September. Sinopec will also finish building an interconnector between the Yongning and Liuzhou transmission stations by the end of September, while launching another interconnector between Qinzhou and Laibing with a bidirectional capacity of 8 MMcm/d.
