Gazprom Chief Executive Alexei Miller and his Kogas counterpart Seung-Il Chong discussed the potential for a gas pipeline between Russia and South Korea at the Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok on Wednesday, according to a Gazprom announcement.

They also discussed the possibility of increasing Russian LNG exports to South Korea.

The Sakhalin 2 project supplied 1.9 mt of LNG to South Korea in 2017.
