The price of Indonesia’s LNG exports increased by 25% on an annual basis in July, to $8.75/MMBtu, helping boost revenue to its highest level since March 2017. The country received $628 million for the 1.4 mt of LNG it exported in July. The average price paid for Indonesia’s LNG has increased over the past five months and could continue to grow as oil prices surge.
