Sonatrach draws up shortlist of four for new jetty at Skikda

Sonatrach will select a contractor to build a new jetty at the Skikda LNG plant by the end of September

Sonatrach will select a contractor to build a new jetty at the Skikda LNG plant by the end of September, the company has said in a statement.

The shortlist consists of Hyundai Engineering & Construction, China Harbour Engineering, Orascom Construction Besix, and a consortium of Ronesans and Ballast-Nedam.

The work will allow 220 thousand cubic metre (Mcm) vessels to dock at Skikda compared with the 130 Mcm limit currently.
