Nigerian National Petroleum Corp. (NNPC) aims to officially start construction of the 618 km Ajaokuta-Kaduna-Kano pipeline next month, the company said on Monday.
NNPC said it had received assurances from China National Petroleum Corp. that the state-owned Chinese company is committed to helping it secure up to 85% of the $2.8 billion required to build the pipeline.
