SOCAR Georgia Gas to increase supply by 29%

SOCAR Georgia Gas is planning to supply Georgia with 1.8 billion cubic metres of gas in 2018.

SOCAR Georgia Gas (SGG), a subsidiary of SOCAR Energy Georgia, is planning to supply Georgia with 1.8 billion cubic metres of gas in 2018, which would be a year-on-year rise of 28.6%, Interfax reported State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) as saying in its annual report for 2017. SGG supplied Georgia with 1.4 bcm of gas in 2017.

SGG’s main focus is Georgia’s gasification programme, SOCAR said.
