Woodside has called on the Australian government to accelerate the adoption of fuel cell technology and electric vehicles by requiring a proportion of the government’s vehicle fleet to switch from petrol and diesel, according to The West Australian.

The company claims gas reforming is the cheapest way to produce hydrogen and has been looking at using the method to supply hydrogen to Japan.
