The public procurement award process for the Interconnector Greece-Bulgaria (IGB) pipeline has resumed, the project company said in a recent note.
The procedure was suspended in June following a complaint, and the new deadline for applications is 10 September 2018.
The IGB will have a capacity of 3 billion cubic metres per year, with the potential for an expansion up to 5 bcm/y. Construction was originally planned to start in Q1 2018. The project is scheduled to be completed by 2020.
