The Pakistan GasPort (PGP) LNG terminal in Port Qasim received just three cargoes in July, down from six in June. The terminal’s main customers are three new combined-cycle gas turbine power plants in Punjab province, the Haveli Bahadur Shah, Bhikki and Balloki plants, which have a combined generation capacity of 3.6 GW. The energy ministry ordered a reduction in imports last week because of a lack of demand from power utilities and gas distributors.
