China plans to switch 3.92 million households in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region from coal to gas for heating by the end of October, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment said in a draft plan to mitigate air pollution in the region this autumn and winter.
The plan, which was released on Thursday, also called for local authorities to speed up development of infrastructure for gas storage and transportation, while upstream suppliers such as China National Petroleum Corp., Sinopec and China National Offshore Oil Corp....
