China’s apparent gas consumption grew by 16.1% in June, to 21.98 billion cubic metres, the National Development and Reform Commission said last week.

Production increased by 5.6%, to 12.20 bcm, while imports rose by 30.9%, to 10.08 bcm. Apparent consumption increased by 16.8% year on year in H1 2018, Li Fulong, director of planning and development at the National Energy Administration, said at a press conference on Monday.
