Total’s Kaombo project offshore Angola has started production, Agence Ecofin has reported, marking a turnaround for the country’s oil industry.
The ultra deepwater Block 32 project is set to connect 59 wells, producing 230,000 barrels of oil per day at its peak and an unquantified amount of gas that will be transferred onshore to be liquefied by Angola LNG facilities.
