South Korea’s LNG imports are set to decline in the coming months as maintenance work at nuclear power plants comes to an end, according to Hellenic Shipping News.

Around half of the country’s nuclear fleet has been offline in recent months, causing LNG imports to soar.

The number of working reactors is expected to remain at around six for the rest of the year, causing gas demand to decline in H2 2018.
