CHC Helicopter, a Canadian provider of helicopters to the oil and gas industry, has seen its contracts with several companies in Equatorial Guinea rescinded following a ministerial announcement.
Agence Ecofin has reported the Guinean authorities have accused CHC of failing to respect local content rules and have ordered several producers – including Noble Energy, ExxonMobil, Kosmos Energy, Trident and Marathon Oil – to source other transport contractors within 60 days.
