Australia’s LNG exports exceeded 16 mt in Q1 2018, a 5% increase on the previous quarter and up by 25% year on year, according to statistics from the Office of the Chief Economist. The startup of the second train at the Wheatstone LNG plant last month will see exports expand further in the coming quarters.
