France’s EDF and Total have signed binding agreements to sell their combined 75% stake in the Dunkirk LNG terminal to two groups, EDF said on Thursday.

France’s EDF and Total have signed binding agreements to sell their combined 75% stake in the Dunkirk LNG terminal to two groups, EDF said on Thursday.

The sale is expected to close in H2 2018 once French regulators have approved the deal.

A group of South Korean securities composed of Samsung Securities, Hanwha Investment & Securities Co. and IBK Securities Co. will acquire 39.24%, while another group comprising Fluxys, AXA Investment Managers and Crédit Agricole Assurances will purchase the remaining 35.76%.
