Norway’s Equinor has received approval to drill in block 7220/5 in the Barents Sea, Petroleum Safety Authority Norway said in a note on Wednesday.

The company will be investigating the Skruis prospect, located 215 km northwest of Sørøya in the county of Finnmark and around 150 km northwest of the Goliat field. Drilling will begin in August 2018 and will last for 27 days.
