Norway’s Equinor has commissioned Jacobs Engineering Group to conduct a feasibility study on the construction of a hydrogen production plant in Eemshaven in the Netherlands, Jacobs said in a note.

The plant will include carbon capture technology and export facilities. The hydrogen produced will be supplied to Vattenfall’s Magnum gas-fired power plant after it is converted to run on hydrogen.
