India’s Adani Gas is among the companies that have submitted a total of 400 bids for 84 city gas distribution licences offered by the Indian government, according to Bloomberg.
The company bid for 32 licences, while its joint venture partner Indian Oil Corp. bid for 20.
Gail bid for close to 30 cities, according to the Press Trust of India.
The licences are expected to be awarded by October.
