An undersea gas pipeline operated by China National Offshore Oil Corp. (CNOOC) near Jakarta in Indonesia started leaking on Monday, Tempo has reported.
The leak, 1.5 km off the coast of Cilegon in Banten province, caused the daily supply of 1.41 million cubic metres to be suspended, according to Wisnu Prabawa Taher, head of communications at upstream regulator SKKMigas.
CNOOC has sent three ships to the site of the leak.
