Pakistan imported 710,500 tons of LNG in June, an increase of 85% year on year. This was the first month in which both the country’s LNG terminals were operating at capacity.

The country received 11 cargoes, the most it has ever received in a single month. Six were delivered to the Pakistan GasPort (PGP) terminal, which was operating at capacity for the first time since it started up last November.
