Equinor buys Danske Commodities

Equinor has bought Danske Commodities – one of Europe’s largest short-term electricity and gas traders.

Norwegian oil and gas company Equinor has bought Danish energy trading company Danske Commodities – one of Europe’s largest short-term electricity and gas traders. The €400 million ($468 million) deal is part of Equinor’s move into the electricity business, the major said in a note on Friday.
