South Korea’s Kogas has signed a memorandum of understanding with Australia’s Woodside Petroleum to cooperate on research and development into hydrogen fuel, Kogas said on Monday.

The two companies agreed to expand joint research into the production of hydrogen fuel from natural gas as well as its manufacture and management, according to Kogas.

The state-run company said in April that it would install charging equipment for hydrogen-powered vehicles at its LNG distribution stations across South Korea.
