UK independent Savannah Petroleum has announced it is close to completing a deal for the acquisition of several upstream and midstream gas assets from Nigeria’s Seven Energy.

Savannah is seeking ministerial consent and anticipates the final legal terms to be executed by the end of July.

The company is set to acquire Seven’s Accugas midstream business, which owns 260 km of pipelines as well as approximately 5 million cubic metres per day of output from the Uquo field.
