Ex-works prices at Chinese liquefaction plants increased last week from the previous week, the first time this has happened since mid-May. Demand from gas-fired power plants helped push prices up by 0.64%, to RMB 3,462/t ($10.22/MMBtu). Forty-six plants in Shaanxi, Ningxia, Guizhou, Yunnan, Chongqing, Sichuan, Henan, Shanxi and Inner Mongolia increased their asking prices by an average of 3.49%.
