The Mozambique LNG project is set to take an FID in January 2019, S&P Global Platts quoted Augusto Macuvele, head of exploration at Mozambican regulator the INP, as saying on Thursday.
“The project is at take-off stage now and has programmed the FID for around January,” said Macuvele, adding it could begin exporting LNG by 2023 if construction starts by the end of 2019.
