A wholly owned subsidiary of Cheniere Energy has entered into a new multi-year time charter for the GasLog Sydney LNG carrier, GasLog Partners said on Tuesday.

The charter for the 155,000 cubic metre vessel is scheduled to start after its current contract with Shell ends in September 2018. The charter can be extended for up to two consecutive periods at a higher price.

The vessel is currently in drydock while a reliquefaction module is installed.
