Nigeria has signed an agreement to export gas to Morocco via a 5,660-km pipeline that could also eventually supply Europe, the Nigerian government said on Monday.
The Nigeria-Morocco Gas Pipeline will help Nigeria to further reduce gas flaring in oilfields across the Niger Delta.
