An upgrade on a pipeline between Turkey and Bulgaria will be ready by the end of June, Bulgarian Prime Minister Boiko Borisov said on Tuesday, according to Mediapool.
The upgrade concerns the section between the Lozenets compression station and the Neidental purification facility. It will increase the line’s capacity from 14 billion cubic metres per year to 15.7 bcm/y and enable reverse flows between Bulgaria and Turkey.
