ExxonMobil and Russia’s Rosneft expect their Far East LNG export project to have a capacity of 6.2 mtpa, Interfax quoted James Grable, an Exxon manager at the Sakhalin 1 joint venture with Rosneft, as saying on Thursday.

The plant’s capacity could also be increased from planned initial volumes, Grable added. Far East LNG will be built in the port of De Kastri and will cost an estimated $15.3 billion.
