South Korea’s LNG imports fell by 25% in April from a month earlier – a decline of more than 1 mt. The fall is largely a result of warmer temperatures and lower demand for energy during the spring. 

Although LNG imports declined in April month on month, they were up by nearly 40% year on year. More than 16 mt was imported between January and April, an increase of 18% on the same period last year.
